IE and Firefox are web browsers. They go to the website you want and display the information.

Have Firefox go to the site using this; live.com After you have logged in, create a bookmark.

Hi   !
Would you take a look at the article   'Change the program to open email links'     http://mzl.la/1BAQCEb
(To access your email-account you'd be using Firefox,  if Firefox is your default browser.)

Comcast can have different login pages for the account or webmail.

Start IE and look at the url in the Address bar for your Comcase webmail site. Then you can either copy and paste or type out the same url in the Location (address) bar in Firefox.

Let's say the url in IE was www.example.com you can then enter the same www.example.com url in the Firefox Location bar. Once you go to the Comcast webmail site you can Bookmark it even. Simple really.
