Firefox crashes when clicking in post field on Facebook
Firefox 50.1.0 crashes when I click in a post field on Facebook. This does not happen when I click in a comment field of an existing post. I can view and navigate Facebook with no other problems.
This behavior began after I accidentally performed a refresh of Firefox. Prior to the refresh, I was running more extensions than I am now and had no problems. I tried running Firefox in safe mode, but the problem persisted. I also tried reinstalling Firefox, but that did not work either. Below is the latest crash report ID.

hi, thank you for providing a crash report id. can you try to clear offline storage for facebook when you go to the firefox menu ≡ > options > advanced > network panel?
I tried your suggestion. It said it was using 0 bytes of storage, but I clicked the clear button anyway then restarted Firefox. The problem occurs.
100% same problem here. Tried safe mode as well with no success
PS: thepipe plz edit the question title if you can because it says youtube and not FB

Thanks philipp. That worked.
I have (I think) exactly the same problem. For about 1.5 to 2 months, this has been happening. I even did a reinstall of Windows 10 on my Asus notebook (not for this reason) and then installed Firefox fresh - that was about 1 month ago. The problem occurred right away after they were both reinstalled.
I have Windows 10 Home Edition Version 1703 64-bit operating system, x-64-based processor
I see Firefox version is listed as 53.0.3 (32-bit)
I wonder if Firefox version is supposed to be "64-bit"? I notice that even though I have a 64-bit computer, frequently the software installed is the "32-bit" version.
hi BillB314, if you're on firefox 53 your problem won't be the same as the thread owner's crash - his particular type of crash was fixed and our data confirms it's no longer present after firefox 51.
please open a new question including more details about your crash so that we can help you effectively. thanks!
