Firefox said windows vista needs to be upgraded to windows 10 by September. Best Buy tells me 95% will not successfully upgrade and a new computer is the only option. Why would Firefox tell me to upgrade if it is not possible? what do I do?

'Best Buy'   sells computers and will of course try to sell you one, even if you don't need one right now..
Only you can decide whether you need a new computer - it depends on how old your device is and in what state .......

You can still use Windows Vista on the ESR version of Firefox till mid 2018.
