How can I copy a calendar event from earlier today, in Thunderbird?
I want to create a repeat of a meeting that happened this morning. But Thunderbird will never let me see events from earlier today. It *will* let me see events from the past, as long as they are prior to the current day. This means I always have to wait until next day before the event reappears and I can reschedule my meeting.
Is there a workaround? I don't want to re-enter a complex meeting setup from scratch. To minimise human error, I just want to be able to copy the previous meeting (or edit its date to make it happen at a future time)
Grateful for any suggestions, thanks.

Open the Calendar tab. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/lightning-user-interface
You can right-click an event and use copy and paste.
Thanks very much fo the quick reply , that sounds ideal if I can make it work but I may still be doing something wrong: (a) I don't have the copy/paste options. If I right click an event, I only get Open, Convert to (eg email), Delete Event, Attendance. (b) The main question is how to make the event visible in the first place (without waiting for the following day). E.g. say it's Tuesday, and there's 9 am event. The event happens, goes well, and afterwards we want to schedule a repeat. But it's now 10am Tuesday - the event has disappeared from the calendar and won't reappear until Wednesday. Has anyone else had this problem?

In Calendar: There is calendar pane on the left. Above the main calendar week display, there is the option to show a list of events. If you cannot see it use the toolbar: 'Events and Tasks' > select 'Find Events' Select 'Today's Events' from drop down options.
Also, in the 'Today Pane' shown on the right side. Make sure you do have the correct date selected :) select 'Events' and also 'Today'.
