How to change Firefox icon permanently in macOS?
Hello, I want to use a custom Firefox icon, I know how to change icons in macOS, only problem is -- every time I download a file the icon changes to default in the dock, while still showing the custom icon in applications folder. Restarting Firefox does the trick. I hope there is a way to change it permanently?

I would recommend here as I did a simple search online to see about changing icon on the mac to get more help for you there.
Can't you set this icon in the dock to read-only or lock it, so it can't be changed ?

I said I know how to change icons in macOS, problem is that it's already changed, it changes back once I download something
I "solved" the problem by discovering Firefox Developer Edition, it has nice tools I need for work and I like the icon better :D dark theme is pretty awesome too. TY both. Thread closed.
