Migrating. My old inbox now successfully in TBird local folders. Not so with a .sdb folder. Moved it in the profile, but doesn't show in TBird. Any help?
Moved from POP to IMAP with a new address. IT person told me to remove the old account, which was a mistake. But I found a lot of my stuff in the profile in the folder Mail (the folder for current stuff is ImapMail). Tried to transfer what was in Mail to the local folders sub-folder. This worked for my former inbox, which I can now access from the main thunderbird page. But I have a number of sdb files with folders, including archives that go back to 2009. I transferred one sdb file (the one with these archives: I am not using the current TBird facility for that) to local folders in my profile, but it does not show in local folders in my TBird page. Any help on this?

the sdb folder should show up in Thunderbird only as a + to open the sub folders on the folder.
Say your inbox contains.
MyStuff MyStuff.msf Mystuff.sdb
mystuff and mystuff.msf are the folder in Thunderbird. Without the first file, there is no folder. The sdb, while containing the files that make up the sub folders only serves to put a + in the user interface so you can expand to see the sub folders.

Thanks. I will transfer the individual sub-folders rather than try to transfer the entire .sbd folder. I already tried to do that with one sub-folder and it works.
