how can i reset a saved password to the one I saved before?
I recently updated a password that was saved and i can't login right now. I don't remember the correct password and I wondered if there is any posibility to reset a saved password. I tried looking online and found that you can reset a document to a previous version. I tried that, but there were no previous versions.
thanks in advance!

Hi theg, Firefox's Password Manager doesn't have a way to roll back changes to saved logins. Do you make any backups of your computer that would allow restoring older files? If so, I'll suggest some files to look for.
(If you were trying the right-click a file > Properties > Previous Versions trick, I don't think that is available in Windows 10.)
If you can't remember the password and don't have any backups, the next step would be to consider how to update the password. Is the login for a Firefox Account that you use to Sync your Firefox? Or is it a website account?
You can only double-click a password stored in the Password Manager to edit this field. You would have to have an older copy of logins.json to get ban older version of this password and this would replace all current passwords, so you would have to use this backup in a separate profile.
You can look at this utility to browse System Restore points.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
