Firefox history remembers every URL apart from news.bbc.co.uk. How can I get FF to remember this website so I do not have to type it in in full each time
Firefox works perfectly well when I type into the address a previously visited URL. FF prefills and I just press enter and all good. However FF does not remember news.bbc.co.uk. Every other web site seems to work apart from this, so it has to be typed in in full to get access. Can anyone explain how I can get FF to remember this one web site? Thanks!

I have managed to fix it. I opened chrome and went to news.bbc.co.uk. Then closed chrome. Then went to FF history and imported history etc from Chrome into FF. Now FF recognises news.bbc.co.uk and all seems to work fine

This might happen because you get redirected to https://www.bbc.co.uk/news or https://www.bbc.com/news, so you do not actually visit news.bbc.co.uk and create a history entry.
Thank you for your reply. Previously it worked in FF by typing news.bbc.co.uk and all worked fine. I rebuilt my laptop last week and reinstalled windows and obviously reinstalled FF. Since I have installed FF in rebuilt Windows it does not work for this one site. I have removed FF and reinstalled and still the same issue.
