I also have this problem after using FireFox Exclusively for years for the exact purpose of viewing my Dish Anywhere recordings while away from home. I think we need better than a knee jerk answer like this. How about some tech support answers from FireFox tech with a real answer

Hi blindfaith101 and Sickdude, some sites support only a limited set of browsers. This could be based on known functional limitations, or on business considerations related to resources (or laziness). Sometimes you can overcome the blockage by setting Firefox to masquerade as a supported browser, but it's not guaranteed to work.

Since I don't have a DISH subscription, I can't get it myself. Here are examples of two extensions that let you disguise Firefox as another browser by changing the useragent string. This isn't foolproof because sites have other means to test browsers to determine their true identity, but you could give it a shot.
