My InBox looks blank but if I click on a row I can read the email that's there: I just can't see any header information. I have moved most emails into archive folders and the messages show up properly there - for the most part, as the folder I named 2020 has the same problem as my InBox. As well, I moved email messages from my Sent box, where they were visible, to an archive folder and I can't see them there. I have tried the usual: using properties /repair option for my InBox and other folders that don't show email message header information, as well as compressing folders, removing large #s of emails, emptying them then repairing them; etc. Nothing has worked so far. I fear that I will have to use a different email client if I can't resolve this. I can see my emails on my mobile phone so this is a Thunderbird-specific issue.

This is no longer a problem :-)! I thought that using the 'repair' option would repair damaged folder index .msf files, but it did not. I finally found my thunderbird .msf files on my hard drive and with Thunderbird shut down, I deleted the ones that got corrupted. When I rebooted Thunderbird, I could see my emails again as it created new .msf files.
