why does thunderbird can't sync rss feed

I'm really interested in mozilla softwares and i use thunderbird for rss reading, but i want to sync my rss reading between my ubuntu and my windows. i found an old forum post about it:

i wonder if there is possibility to add syncing feature to thunderbird. i think that it isn't hard to work out for a great company like mozilla :)

Mozilla dumped Thunderbird 4 or 5 years ago. The Thunderbird Council is keeping it going.
