I have been using Firefox for Desktop sites of Facebook messaging for a long time. Recently, I found that it stopped working. https://www.messenger.com/ says "Could not display conversation", when https://www.facebook.com/messages displays conversations, but, the page is reloading all the time. The Desktop version of Firefox doesn't have any problem. Also, Chrome on Android works. Could it be a trick from Facebook server? But, why does Chrome work? Is this a bug that should be reported?

Thanks,

Yury

Facebook makes changes to their website on a weekly basis. Most of them are minor or not user noticeable changes. However they have been slowly expanding their blocking mobile browsers from accessing messaging . The release of 52 beta is just coincidence.

You can also try the website https://mbasic.facebook.com which is a version of the Facebook website that is designed for slow connections.

Thank you, AMAN! https://mbasic.facebook.com/ is exactly what I need. It’s good that Facebook should support slow connections! I am not so brave to install Facebook apps, but it is impossible to completely avoid Facebook messaging today.
