bing seems to have taken over
I am having a lot of trouble with bing bar, it seems to have taken over as my search engine , and my bookmarks won't work , is it anything to do with microsoft edge installing itself ?

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

it just slowed everything down , timed out logging into reguarly used sites ( online banking) , this has started happening after an update where microsoft edge had installed itself and taken over as the default search engine , and would not allow switching back to google , which i perfer, I have had to uninstall edge, then manually delete the bing bar section from the firefox selection box,
Is your problem fixed?
