Some new messages are flashing on my screen when I'm looking at my In Box on my PC or I-Phone and then they disappear. This problem has occurred several times in the past week. I can only find the messages by going online to Gmail or by checking All Messages on my phone. Yesterday, one was a personal message; today the message was a login code sent by Firefox.

What email inbox? Firefox is just a standard Browser. So are you using sync and confusing it with a actual email service provider aka gmail or yahoo notification.
