This is the same error message I get whenever I want to install a new addon, doesn't seem to affect the current ones I already have installed.

You have not shown the actual error message. If it is about an unexpected installation error, see unexpected installation error -203 when installing add-ons. For other possible causes see unable to install add-ons.
