accidently allowed babylon to enter the browser. Want to get rid off all babylon related stuff
I deleted the babylon browser bar, but cannot get rid of the babylon logo on the tabs, and each new window that shows the babylon search engine hooked up the google engine

You can open the about:config page via the location bar and do a search for babylon via the Filter at the top of that page.
You can reset all babylon related prefs via the right-click context menu to their default values.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Getting rid of Babylon is easy. Just follow these steps:
- click start - go to control panel- go to add or remove - scroll down the menu until you find Babylon then uninstalled. Once its uninstall close the control panel.
- At the very top of your screen you will see tools - click on that - go to add-ons - scroll down until you find babylon - click uninstall. By doing this it will ask you to restart your browser again. Do it and babylon will be gone from your system completely

Anyone with such problems by all means read this thread for information, but you are better starting your own thread, by asking your own question, because often setups will differ and exactly what has been downloaded and inadvertently or otherwise installed will vary.
