how do I find my browser security settings
When I am in Phoenix University website, I try to copy and paste something and it tells me because of my browser security settings, the editor is not able to access my clipboard directly. How do I fix this?

Why would they need access to your clipboard, do you have to logged in, for this to happen, what is the link and what do you do to get the message?
I would first try:
- Tools < Tabs > Content > Javacript turn on and Advanced settings on the right of that.
But your message sounds like
- Security Policies - MozillaZine Knowledge Base
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Security_Policies - Granting JavaScript access to the clipboard - MozillaZine Knowledge Base
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Granting_JavaScript_access_to_the_clipboard
Without exact message text and without urls you make people grab at straws (or at least make guesses).
