Can I set a default page for opening new tabs?
when i open a new tab, it's just a blank page ... is there any way i can set a default page or have it open my home-page when i open a new tab?

A blank tab (New Tab) is the Firefox default. Install this add-on and set to any page/web site you want opened when opening a new tab: http://sogame.awardspace.com/newtaburl/
