keep getting "software update failed" i've tried reinstalling firefox and serching for answers on google..i'm scared i'm not getting my security updates..i'd hate to change browsers cause i love firefox.. any suggestions?

What error code does it give?

The quickest fix is to download the latest release from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and see if the next update works through automatic updates
