Google Loads Slowly, Some Sites I Get An Error Message (Takes a Long Time)
I'm on a Mac and have been using Firefox for years w/o problems. But since two (or so) updates ago, it takes a LONG time for the results of a Google search to come up, and some sites don't come up at all, I get an error message (I don't remember what the error message says, but it does give me a "Try Again" option, and when I click on it, the page comes up fairly quickly). I just tried a Google search using Safari, the returns page came up immediately, so it's not the Mac, it's Firefox.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: The error message I get at times (primarily with secure sites, like banking/credit card sites) is "The connection was interrupted" ... "The connection to [site name] was interrupted while the page was loading" ... "blah blah blah" ... "Try again" button

I am having a problem with interminable loading with Google searches (particularly from the nav bar) box and Gmail. Amazon.com alos loads slowly to product listingss, either from within Amazon or Google search results. I don't get to the point of getting an error message. Sometimes the page eventually loads, other times I have to force close the browser and restart when the spinning blue wheel/grayed-out page doesn't go away. Less often, reloading (from address bar arrow or nav bar icon) works.
This problem has come out of nowhere, has been most notable the past week, and does not accompany a recent update or browser add-on.
