I have not been able to connect to the internet via Firefox at all today (2/1/12. Had to resort to using Internet Explorer. Things were working fine, but after an automatic Firefox update attempted to load, I cannot gain access.

Been a Firefox user for several years now, but today when I double click on the Firefox icon, nothing happens. After an automatic Firefox update loaded, I can't seem to connect to the internet via Firefox. My internet connection is fine as I am able to connect using Internet Explorer. I shut off my computer and also did a restart.....didn't help at all.
