Firefox has crashed but not in the safe mode. I am using window 7. All I get is the screen that tells me that it has crashed and it has sent a report How can I get this fixed?

If it runs correctly in safe mode then you probably have an extension or a plugin that is not compatible or corrupted. If you got the crash report dialog, it contains the crash ID. If you can provide that ID for us, we can look it up and get a better idea of what caused the crash, thanks.

Hey johnviss,

If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.

There is also a lot of useful stuff in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) Knowledge Base article.

Have a look at the article firefox crashes and please attempt to provide recent crash IDs this helps both by initially submitting information to Firefox, and then the ID itself lets others try to get information to help you.

Please be aware Firefox may be having new unusual crash problems at present see for instance my adjacent post /questions/917748#answer-308124
