I tried to upload my Firefox data to the sync server but may have made a mistake in the verification box. The tools menu has "sync now as its only sync option but nothing happens when this is selected.

When I attempt to access these sites my login is refused although the uid and password are correct. Thus I can get nowhere.

Try to clear the cookies from sites that cause problems and also make sure that you aren't blocking cookies.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems (e.g. mozilla.com and mozilla.org):

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
