Hi,

For mine bank I need to access the usb card reader, Nightly does not see the card reader. This will make the product not so use full for e.g. the Netherlands. Here the banks in the Netherlands use these PKI card to identify the end user.

Eddy

Nightly Win 64 is a long way from being a beta version - it's like a pre-alpha version, with no slated date for being released.

Does it work in the latest release version, Firefox 21?

Hi,

I am using nightly 24.0a1 (2013-06-12), this a app and not the standard Firefox browers you are using, accordingly you need the latest version that seems to work to mine friends.

The latest version is Firefox 21.0. The nighty channel where Firefox 24.0 is currently in early development is still a work in progress with updates pretty much everyday.

How about the Firefox beta builds of 22.0 http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

I known that nightly is still in beta, but to help to improve the browser, I just wanted to share some features I found. like is 32 bits, why not a full 64 When the card reader works I test the VDI over VPN.

There has been a change in where Firefox searches for plugins and the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder is no longer scanned for plugins, so Firefox won't find them anymore if they are installed in the plugins folder instead of the "browser\plugins" folder that Firefox now scans.

You can set the plugins.load_appdir_plugins pref to true on the about:config page to make Firefox scan the "<install>/plugins/" directory for plugins like the WMP plugin (np-mswmp.dll).

You can alternatively move plugins from "<install directory>\plugins\" to "<install directory>\browser\plugins\" (create this folder when missing) to make Firefox find them again.
