I keep getting ad windows covering part of the browser page. It's a BFASlideIn Ad Logo.

I also keep having browser pages opening from quibids and linksr and adnxs. I've tried blocking their cookies, but no good.

hello, you might have a problem with malware on your pc. please go to firefox > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

How do I "go to" firefox>addons etc.

there should be a firefox button at the top left of the browser with an addons subemnu. if there is no firefox button & you have the menu bar displayed, you can access the addons manager through the tools menu.

What if I want to block the site not just the pop-ups?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page. There’s a lot of good stuff here. What you want to do is to search for add / pop-up blockers, and for site blockers.
