Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Similar: I installed Firefox 25.0 over a week ago and I've received at least 4 messages (plus one that popped up today) saying it was strongly recommended that I install Firefox 25.0. I'll try the "full installer" solution, and will come back to this forum if I still get that message.
