my friend, i think your PC has been infected with tricky hijacker but don't worry cuz it is not a tough case. You asked this question here so i consider you are a Mozilla Firefox user, am i right?

i suggest you to reset the browser so that to clean the traces left by the royalsearch. You can open the troubleshooting information page from the firefox menu(under the Help list) and you'd better reset the homepage after that, just to be on the safe side.

wish you luck.

cheirse8850: Along with the above, check for mal-ware.

============================

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
