I am using AVG PC Tune up and it keeps telling me I need to delete files with the name Safari. I tell it to delete but it never does. I don't show the Safari program on my install or uninstall listing, but when I search for safari files I show thirteen files related to safari. Don't know what to delete or what to keep. Please help as my computer is running so very very slow. The files that come up are document and setting files, mobile device support files and AVG tune up data files. I have no idea what to do.

hello jakesdaughter, those pc tune-up programs often do more harm than good - i also don't see how deleting files would have a significant impact on performance. in any case since this issue doesn't appear to be related to firefox in particular, you might get better help by contacting avg's support...

Thank you for the reply, it was good to know if I don't renew the program I won't be in trouble. Unfortunately I still don't understand why I have an Apple program called Safari on my non apple computer and what it is supposed to do, let alone what will happen if I delete all these safari files!
