It takes about one minute before a window is opened correct when I am writing a new message, I can't type anything until it is ready.
I have been using thunderbird for at least ten years and have never had this problem. The same are happening when I am trying to respond an email. I am using version 52.8.0 on my Apple computer with macOS version:10.13.3
