How do I stop the "account verified" tab and the "firefox sync" tab from loading when I start Firefox ?

I was curious about Firefox Sync Now so I signed up. Now every time I start Firefox it opens 3 tabs. My home page, the " Welcome to Sync" page and the "Account verified" page. How do i stop these extra tabs at start-up? Thanks !

You can check the home page setting:

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: Home page

Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.

If you do not keep changes after a restart or otherwise have problems with preferences, see:
