Can't delete messages from inbox

We have reached our quota so in an effort to reduce it we have deleted unwanted emails & copied older emails to a new folder under our local folders tab. We are now having troubles deleting the copied emails from our inbox.

Your assistance with this matter would be much appreciated. Thank you!

If you have an IMAP mail account and you have selected to delete emails but they are still on the server.... Right click on Inbox folder and select 'Compact'. This should remove all 'marked as deleted' mail.
