Slow Thunderbird in accessing ISP and deleting unwanted Email's
When I try to download Email, most of the time it's extremely slow. Usually I need to check the Email more than once to get it all downloaded. When I try to delete some Email's, the process is extremely slow. This is also true when I try to move an Email from one location to another.

Have you compacted your folders lately? Are you deleting from the server as well, or is the inbox full? Make room, move to local folders.
