The motherboard on my laptop died. Bought a new one and cannot figure out how to get all of my e-mails back. What am I missing?

Are your old hard-disk intact?

Yes, I think I have transferred everything over to the new computer, I just cannot figure out how to get Thunderbird to recognize it.
