In the past I have always been able to print my emails from the message window. Now, suddenly, I cannot print any emails. My printer is working fine but won't print the emails. I presume that this is a Mozilla Thunderbird application problem which I hope that someone can help me get back. Thank you

I use this add-on:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/printingtools/

to get printing to behave itself. I don't know if it will help in your situation.

Do you print from the Message Pane below the Inbox (Thread Pane to be pedantic) or do you open the message in its own window, or tab? Does the alternative view work any better?
