java deployment toolkit is current but still blocked
I have checked on the java website through their verification applet after updating to Java 18.0.0.203 (most current version). The applet (which was blocked) confirmed that my version of the JDT was the most current - 8.0.450.14 11.45.2.14. All of a sudden, you have decided to add it to the block list and now I am constantly asked if I want to activate it whenever I come across a page that has a non Youtube video (usually a news video). Java's website says that this version is secure after running the verification applet. I am aware that your blocking of this plugin may be due to the fact that I am using FF28. However, I REFUSE to upgrade my FF since I do not approve of the new interface. Please remove this from the block list or give us the choice of always activate back for blocked plugins. It's annoying being constantly interrupted by popups asking to activate or having to constantly click on activation links for java content.

That Java deployment toolkit has been blocked for a number of years now; Oracle never fixes the security issues that Mozilla has with it. But that shouldn't be a big deal because few "normal users" need that plugin for web surfing. It's mainly for developers who are creating stuff to run Java, and some older "in-house" applications, like on an employee intranet.
If you are getting a blocked applet, it shouldn't be getting blocked on account of the deployment toolkit.
