My Mac froze on a website I had to restart Mac. I ended up loosing two web browsers with multiple tabs open ! !

My Mac froze on a wesite I had to restart it. I had lost 2 web browsers with mutiple tabs open there was NO Restore Previous session Highlighted These had been open for a few weeks and I don’t remember when I ones they all are, I’m using them for my dissertation How can I get them all back ?

I can recommend trying to check the History > Show all history.

Does Session Restore otherwise work properly?

You can try the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" startup setting if you currently aren't using this.

  • Firefox > Preferences > General > Startup: "When Firefox starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
