Restore old history from old profile folder, merge to the current and disable clearing

The problem:

I periodically visited a torrent tracker during several years and used its search tools to find popular things. I used to look at links color to determine whether I've already visited to not download or view anything again. But now the old history is somehow gone and the old visited pages are not colored! I'm very very frustrated... There are tons of pages and I never can be sure that I'm not wasting my time viewing them again and again.

The last record in my browser history is from 14.06.2015 but I need to see what I visited from ~2010!

What I want:

I have some backups of my profile folder. 1. I want to extract the old history from them (multiple) and merge to my current browser history. 2. I want to disable removing history forever (for at least one specific domain).

Sorry, Firefox doesn't have a "merge" function for sqlite files as used to store browsing history & bookmarks together in the places.sqlite file.

The best I can offer is a SQLIte Manager program, to allow you to read and possibly edit the places.sqlite files that you have saved. http://www.sqlabs.com/sqlitemanager.php
