im etting up my email on my iphone 6 and its asking me about incoming mail server "host name, user name" and on outgoing mail server its asking the same thing? what do i put for the answer

That would be the info from your email provider. You could copy what you have for that account in Thunderbird but other than that Thunderbird has nothing to do with setting up your phone.
