All of my passwords have disappeared and there is no place to put in a new password so I can access email. How do I fix?

Use this article to see the saved passwords in Thunderbird. You can remove them there and the next time a password is requested by a server you will get a dialog box to enter the password. https://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=19006

Firefox is an Internet browser and has nothing to do with Thunderbird.

There are no saved passwords and there is no prompt to enter a password. Thanks for your detailed reply, but I do not get a prompt to enter password as described.
