Netflix HD button missing (2016)

So since early this year, the HD button on my Netflix browser has vanished. The browser worked fine with the previous version until this year's update happened.

For example, whenever I play a show that has HD support, the HD button on the bottom right will appear.

Does this ave to do silverlight?

I use Windows 7.
