I had a bad mother board and so we backed up all of the files that was on old hard drive. How do I take all of my emails from that old hard drive and install on new computer with thunderbird and email addresses?

You need to find and restore your profile.
Maybe I copied over the wrong things, but nothing changed. I copied the files from the oldhd and put in the folder for thunderbird. Is there specific files I should be looking for. From what I read it generated a random code, so wasn't sure exactly what to copy.
