Calendar: xml parsing error

Since recently I am having troubles with the calendar:

XML Parsing Error: undefined entity Location: chrome://calendar/content/calendar-event-dialog.xul Line Number 1216, Column 23: 

                     <checkbox id="notify-attendees-checkbox"
</pre>

^

The error appears if I try to edit / create an event.

I did not find the xml/xul file, therefore I wasn't able to determine what causes the issue / how to fix.
Also on the left, where my calendars should be listed, there seems to be a rendering bug, and nothing is listed.

Any suggestions how to debug / fix?

Hi, the code has been changed after posting :( it should say: lower than checkbox id=.... greater than below that should be a few -'s and the ^ should point to the lower than before checkbox.

also the end checkbox at the end got inserted :(
