i am on the windows 7 OS. i can initiate gmail with internet explorer, but not firefox. why not? ihave followed google's recommendations.

my summary describes the problem well:

i am on the windows 7 OS. 

i can use my gmail app  with internet explorer 11, but not firefox.

why not? i have followed google's recommendations --see attached screen shot.
