This web site is not viewable to the public. It is an internal web site that controls the electric locks in our suite. It also keeps a log of who comes and goes. The web site looks like https://10.1.10.100/html/en/ ... When I type in http://10.1.10.100/ ... it allows me to login, but within seconds it cuts me off and generates the "Problem loading page" message. More specifically:

An error occurred during a connection to 10.1.10.100. Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s). Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP

I do not view this page regularly, but I have viewed it this year. What can I do to make Firefox understand that this page is safe? How can I make Firefox open this page completely?

Thanks for any assistance.

SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP Your server apparently doesn't offer any cipher suites necessary to establish a secure https connection that are supported in Firefox. You can check what kind of cipher suites Firefox can make use of by visiting https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html

Thanks FredMcD. I will pass this information to our IT guy.

Evidently the card reader devices that are installed in our suite are older and are no longer supported by the manufacturer. Hence, we are stuck with what we have unless we can convince the property management to upgrade. Needless to say, it seems logical to me that we should be able to provide a white list of safe web sites for any browser we use. I actually thought that is what I did before, but I cannot recall for sure. Is there no such thing now?

That's above my pay grade.
