Default address book
Hi all
I am wondering how to set my gContactsSync address book as my default address book It is for my dad at work so he needs as easy and quick way to access and create contacts as possible
When creating a new contact at the moment it goes to Personal Address Book, however I have done the config change and now it defaults to a blank bar

When you click the grey star in the Header Pane, the address is automatically added to Personal Address Book, as you see, and I don't believe it's possible to change this. However, if you click the star, now yellow, the Edit Contact window appears, and you can select the address book in which it is stored, by clicking the drop-down box.
So you may want to undo the changes to config.

Try this addon 'MorefunctionsforAddressBook'
This allows you select the address book.
click on the header 'From ' email address and a drop down selection appears.
Select: 'Save recipients addresses' > 'as contacts (all)'
small window allows you to choose which address book.

Where is the "From" email address header?
Does this allow me to set a default address book?
