My (& my wife's) connection to Yahoo email via Thunderbird suddenly stopped working today.

I can download Yahoo emails via the Windows 10 mail client (which I do not like) and on my Android tablet. I keep being told by Thunderbird that my password is incorrect. I changed it and entered the new one. Same problem. But the email clients in Windows 10 and Android work fine with the same settings. We had not changed our passwords before the problem started. It was fine yesterdau, today fubar. We've been using Thunderbird for years without issues. Now, it simply isn't working.

It's almost as if specifically Thunderbird access is being rejected by Yahoo

In case you did not notice the dozen or so threads just like yours, Yahoo is a problem right now.
