Calendar not displaying any events. Have tied in my calendar info from both of my email addresses. Why can't I see them?

I have the latest version of Thunderbird, and have Lightning enabled. I have added all three of my email addresses that have calendars I use all of the time on my phone. One is a google calendar. None of the events on any of these calendars appear in Thunderbird. Why not?

What synchronisation system are you using? The Provider For Google Calendar add-on, or CalDAV?

I ended up removing all email addresses, and adding back gmail with the Google calendar sync option, which worked this time. I did download the Google add-on prior, which may have helped. I gave up syncing my "qwest" email to the Calendar (don't rely on as much anyway).
