Have uploaded a free upload of thunderbird in the write page it will not let me send why

To send an email my write page at left top has word (Write) can not get word, send or spell check or default etc.

The word "Write" appears on a toolbar. Clicking it should open a separate window where you write your messages. That "Write" window is where you find the "Send" function. It's normally on a toolbar, but may also be found on a menu.

If you can't see a menu or toolbar in any window try using alt or F10 to make a menu appear temporarily and in that menu go to View|Toolbars and tick the checkboxes.
