How to reload WebGL without relaunching entire browser

I have a problem with WebGL occasionally taking down my Nvidia drivers, but this is a well known issue. This is more about how the browser recovers from the crash.

On Chrome, whenever WebGL crashes, there is an option to quickly reload it and resume what I was doing, by clicking the 'Reload' button in the notification that appears. In Firefox, there is no such option, and I am forced to close Firefox completely, potentially losing unsaved progress, in order to use WebGL again. I am forced to use Chrome for any WebGL intensive work because of Firefox's lack of this feature.

I'm not sure if this has been asked anywhere else, I searched around all I could and I couldn't find anything.

Hi, Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla with in Firefox before posting a question. This helps us help you. As I have no info from your system that would help see things that cause issues.

Ya so I would have been able to see your Video Card Drivers/Card and Open GL and what version but I have no info. info : https://hacks.mozilla.org/2017/01/webgl-2-lands-in-firefox/ There is a link to file a bug report in there. Bug Writing Guidelines : https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/QA/Bug_writing_guidelines

Corrupted Video Card Drivers are one of the main reasons of crashes. When that happens please send the bp- as instructed in this : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-asking-support

As far as I know the answer to your question is no. So To submit suggestions for new or changed features, may I suggest: Feedback: https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/ or https://discourse.mozilla.org/c/add-ons

You may when using heavy resources or the conditions that cause the crash want to try turning off Hardware Acceleration in Options --> down to Performance and then test.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
