Cannot set a breakpoint in DevTools

I try to set a breakpoint in the Debugger tab of the DevTools. I click on the numbers bar on the left. The breakpoint seems to set briefly for a fraction of a second, then it disappears.

I think it's been like that since v58. Am I missing a setting?

Hi, I just supply info and have no idea on this subject but am trying and yes I know these are for Firefox Developer https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/developer/ which you may want to get and install as it does have a compatibility mode to run with other Firefox Versions. It does update every couple of days. Am also hoping that some of this can be used to provide enough info to you for use in 59.0.2 :
